A few weeks ago, I shared (in our opinion) the best birthday freebies out there. While I still stand by those, not all of them are available to children. So I thought I’d put together a list of birthday freebies for kids of all ages. There are actually quite a few!
This list isn’t comprehensive, so if I missed any that your kids particularly enjoy, let me know, and I’d love to add it in. Be sure to check out the other list for all the birthday freebies, many of which children can sign up for as well. As always, be sure to call your local store or restaurant before going to make sure they are participating.
Old Spaghetti Factory: If you sign up for Wally’s Kid’s Club, your child can get a free kid’s meal on their birthday. The website is currently under construction, however, when we were there a few weeks ago, they had the option to sign up. So, I’d just call your local Old Spaghetti Factory for more detaisl!
Ace Hardware: This varieApp Managers depending on what store you go to, but at participating stores, you can register your child (in store) to get a free birthday coupon/surprise on their birthday. I have no idea what this is, as we’ve never signed up, but I’d love to hear if anyone finds out!
Toys R Us: The Toys R Us Birthday Club is kind of a fun one. Children up to 10 years old can register for this one, and they get a birthday card in the mail (Jack’s had a two dollar gift card in it, since he was turning two), and if you go in store, you get a birthday announcement over the intercom and a birthday crown.
Barnes and Noble: Your child can get a free cupcake on their birthday when they sign up for the B&N Kids’ Club. In addition to that, just for signing up, you get a 30% off coupon for any toy or book, plus a $5 reward card for every $100 spent on kids’ items.
Bubba Gump Shrimp Company: Sign up for the kids’ club and your child will receive a free kids’ meal birthday certificate in the mail that they can use any time during their birthday month. (valid for children 12 and under.)
California Pizza Kitchen: Children 10 and under can receive a free kids’ meal during their birthday month when you sign up for their birthday club. Just for signing up for their emails, you can get a $5 off certificate.
Taco Time: Receive a free kids’ meal for signing up for the kids’ birthday club. We have Taco Time here in Utah, but I’m not sure where else has it!
Chuck E Cheese: I’m not really sure what the birthday surprise is for signing up for the eClub, but apparently, you do get something.
Olan Mills: Receive some kind of coupon or discount for signing up for their birthday club.
Kmart: Kids who sign up for the Kmart birthday club will receive a $5 gift certificate to use at Kmart.
Old Navy: When an adult signs up for the email club, there is an option to add your kids to the birthday club. No clue what you get, but it’s worth a shot.
Bob Evan’s: Get a free kids’ meal on your birthday when signing up for the kids’ birthday club. Valid for children under 12.
Various Zoos: There are quite a few zoos that offer free admission on birthdays — I know the Denver Zoo does for sure.
