Last Minute Christmas Gifts for Him
We are about 17 days away from Christmas – how many of you are finished with your Christmas shopping?
I admit, I have a few more things to buy – especially stocking stuffers! It seems like I always have my boys with me at the store, so I still need to make a few solo trips myself, but for the most part, I just need to wrap our gifts!
I had a hard time trying to decide what to get Forrest this Christmas.
I feel like I keep seeing a lot of friends wondering what to get the men in their lives, so I thought I’d put together a list of things I’ve bought in the past (and for the future) that they may enjoy.
Almost all of these can be purchased at your local Walmart (if you are literally shopping on Christmas Eve) or online with fast shipping, so if you happen to be shopping the day before Christmas (don’t worry, I won’t tell), here are a few last minute gift ideas that any dad would love! Some of them make for great stocking stuffers, while others make for great stand alone gifts.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Old Spice and Gillette at Walmart. The opinions and text are all mine.
This gift pack is super affordable. It has everything your man needs to keep himself looking fresh and clean shaven this holiday season.
It’s only $14.88 and includes a new razor, shaving cream, body wash, and more!
Forrest loves Old Spice products, and I don’t mind him using them (I have issues with anything that smells too strong, and I think they have the right amount scent to keep him from being stinky.)
They have a variety of gift packs available at Walmart this holiday season, but this particular one has deodorant, a spray, and body wash. It’s just $9.88.
Forrest always seems to be needing a new wallet, and it’s something I’ve given him a few times over the years. A nice leather one is usually appreciated!
High-quality grill spatula
Okay, I know not all dads love to grill…but almost all the dads I know do 🙂 So I think this is an inexpensive gift that would be popular among most dads. I got Forrest one last year that had ridges on the edge for cutting, so it had multiple purposes, which I know Forrest always appreciates. Make sure it’s nice and long!
Forrest loves portable chargers. They are handy for when we are out and about, or even when we can’t find one. A portable charger bank is a great gift idea.
Battery Case for Phone
This expands the uses of a smart phone even longer, so if the dad in your life is constantly blowing through his phone’s battery, this can be make it so you can always get a hold of him.
Even with everyone having a smart phone nowadays, it seems like most dads I know still like a watch.
Food – sausage, nuts, chocolate
The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, right? These make for great stocking stuffers or you can make a lovely gift basket of his favorite snacks.
I always like to get hot chocolate stirring spoons – Forrest loves hot cocoa, so it’s a fun thing for him to get.
There are lots of these available nowadays, and they often come in handy.
Forrest always asks for new headphones for gifts. His charger port on his iPhone isn’t working so well anymore, so I got some bluetooth ones for him for Christmas to make it a little easier for him.
Another great gift for the grilling man in your life!
Insulated Water bottle
I just think everyone should have an insulated water bottle. These keep your water cold for about 24 hours, and it really helps you to drink more water!
New basketball shorts or pants
Gift Card to Favorite Place to Eat
And make sure it’s a high quality one!
Need I say more?
Virtual Reality Headset
There are actually quite a few very affordable versions of these nowadays, and every guy I know that has one loves it. Just make sure it’s compatible with his phone!
This is the new helicopter gift that I swear every man and boy has gotten at some point in their life. It provides hours of fun!
Tennis balls, new running shoes, a badminton set…the sky is the limit!
There are many affordable streaming devices nowadays for under $50!
I got Forrest a bike trailer because he’s been commenting on how he would much prefer that over the child seat we currently have. You could get a water bottle holder, a new light, or even a bike pump!
I hope that these ideas help you find the perfect gift for the man in your life!
