Simply Earth Essential Oils
The older I get – and the more kids I have – the more I’ve become aware of the products we use in our house.
I’m not perfect, but I try to follow the philosophy that if I can replace something when I’m done with it with something better, then I should!
Essential oils are often used in more natural household cleaning and beauty products – and they can be easy to use to make yourself!
While I can’t use a lot of essential oils topically, I am able to use them when they are in products (or rollerballs!).
They send you everything you need to make different essential oil “recipes” – which includes full-sized bottles of essential oils.
This subscription box is a great way to get some amazing new essential oils – as well as learn how to make some fun essential oil recipes.
Each box is $39.99, but the value of the box is far more than that. It comes with recipe cards, the materials to make the different recipes, as well as labels for the different oils.
With each box, you also get a Bonus Box, which includes empty rollerballs, vials for essential oil blends, and more. It’s really an awesome value.

What types of recipes are included?
In this particular box, it came with several different recipes:
I made all of these, and it was fun. The instructions on the cards were very straight forward and easy to follow.
My favorite was the Happy Joy Facial Bar – it turned out perfectly!
What I like
I love that they send a variety of essential oils – including ones you may not have had or used before.
From what I’ve researched, the oils are very pure and high quality, so you know that you are getting top notch oils.
Essential oils can be expensive, so to be able to get several new bottles – along with the supplies to make some different recipes – for just $39 is a good deal in my opinion. The added bonus of the bonus box makes it an even bigger steal.
I love that this subscription box gives you new ideas of what you can do with oils. It’s something that I think anyone – no matter what their level of “expertise” in essential oils is – can enjoy.
What I didn’t like
I couldn’t really think of much that I didn’t like – the box was put together well, the essential oils were high quality, and the instructions were clear.
However, the two things that I could say I didn’t love are these:
The Sugar Soap Recipe – I really wanted to love this, but it didn’t hold together very well. It’s possible that I didn’t do it correctly, but I found it hard to transport upstairs to my bathroom because it was so crumbly.
The Labels – so I LOVE that they include labels for the different oils and some of the recipes. However, I wish they were easier to take apart. I had to cut each label out, and it would have been nice if they were more sticker-like, and I could just pull them up.
