Halloween Crafts don’t have to be hard or time consuming! Make a Trick or Treat Pumpkins using your Cricut and come away with an adorable Halloween craft that is super easy!

trick or treat pumpkins

Halloween is the perfect time to pull out your Cricut and get crafting! There are so many fun Halloween crafts that are so easy to make. And our Trick or Treat Pumpkin craft is no excepetion.

This craft is fairly inexpensive and would be easy enough to make with children or for a Halloween party.

What does the Cricut Easypress Mini do?

The Cricut Easypress Mini makes amazing heat-transfer results possible for all your sorts of shapes, objects and projects. Because of its well thought out and compact design it effortlessly curves with contours, gets between buttons, and squeeze into seams.

Can I use an iron instead of a mini press?

If you don’t have a mini press you can use a house hold iron. It is definitely possible to achieve the results you want as long as you use it correctly. However, I highly recommend getting a mini press if you can! I use mine all the time and the mini press is a lot easier to maneuver and use than the iron. If you think you will be crafting and using your Cricut a lot- it really would be worth it in the long run!

Tips for removing excess vinyl

You will want to weed out excessive vinyl. This means removing any excess vinyl from around your design that you do not want to be transferred to your final product.

To weed off the excess vinyl, you will need some kind of tool.

A Cricut hook, tweezer, a crafting knife or a straight pin are all great options.

You’ll want to make sure you have good lighting so you can see your cut lines properly. I always have to hold it up the light or window! Once you have your eye on the cut lines, use the weeding tool of your choice to gently lift up the edge of the negative space it pull it up off the paper.
