Champagne & Peach Wedding Ideas

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf ofMillennial Central for MY M&M’S. I received product samples to facilitate my review and to thank me for my participation.

Do you remember the cute M&M Flower vase I made a few weeks ago? Well, it no longer looks as nice as it once did (seeing as most of the M&Ms are gone now,) but I thought I’d give you a little bit more information on ordering customized M&Ms for your wedding, so you can make that vase, or one of the other ideas I suggested.

Since I posted that, we found out that my sister-in-law is getting married. She and her fiance have set the date for August 16th, and we couldn’t be more excited about them. Forrest and I, of course, told her about MYM&MS.com, and she ordered a batch of M&Ms for her upcoming wedding. Her colors are peach and gold, and we can hardly wait to see what they look like (and, of course, taste like!) I think those are such classy colors, and the M&Ms she chose will fit in perfect not only as decorations but as part of the food for people to snack on.

UPDATE 8/18/2014 Well, the highly anticipated wedding arrived, and it was a beautiful day. Doris and Corey are great for each other, and it was a fun day of celebration. I was excited to see how they would incorporate their M&Ms into the wedding, as well as all the other decorations. I feel like there was a lot of thought put into all the details of the wedding. Their colors were champagne and peach. random-us (1 of 8)

The M&MS! We felt like these tasted even better than regular M&MS

I loved this idea that Doris had to decorate with peaches and apples. These were some of the most unique centerpieces I’ve ever seen!

Corey is from Louisiana, so they gave out bottles of Louisiana hot sauce. Such a fun idea!

I think that personalized M&Ms adds a personal touch to any wedding celebration — whether it be a wedding reception, a bridal shower, or a wedding luncheon/dinner. It’s a fun way to incorporate your colors and add your names (or even faces) to an edible party favor that just about anyone can enjoy. After talking to Forrest’s sister, she mentioned that she might put them out on the buffet table and guests will be encouraged to either fill up a little bag with them, or just add them to their dessert plate. Either way, I think that guests will be really excited to see M&Ms on the table and will be equally excited/entertained when they see that they’ve been personalized to match the wedding perfectly. Just as a recap from my last post, here are a few fun ways to incorporate M&MS into any wedding celebration: 1) Party favors for guests – MY M&MS makes it easy to do this, by offering cute containers that your product can be shipped directly in, such as:

  • Silver favor tins
  • Elegant lace favor bags
  • Party favor bags
  • Or you just order them in bulk and add them to your own containers!

2) As part of the decorations (like the simple flower vase I shared) easy-wedding-centerpiece-1   3) Candy bar

4) On the cake

5) On cupcakes Have you ever used personalized M&MS from MYMMS.com for any celebration, wedding or not?
