Midnight Snacks That Won’t Set You Back

I love to snack.

And I often feel like I need those in-between snacks to get me through the day.

I am a night owl- and I find myself staying up until  midnight most nights. I know, I know, I should be getting more sleep but having two little girls- it’s almost like “second day” for me once they are in bed!

Which also means I sometimes need a second dinner, except I like to think of it as a midnight snack.

However, even though I like snacks I try hard to stay on track and eat healthy when I can.  I would love to eat all the junk food but I do make sure what I put into my body is something that I won’t regret in the morning.

A lot of people don’t know that Weight Watchers endorses different products and you might be surprised to learn that, too. I definitely have a few of my favorite products that I enjoy eating that have gotten me off to a great start on my ongoing fitness journey.


JOLLY TIME® Healthy Pop® Popcorn

Popcorn is my go-to snack- espeically when I don’t want something super sweet.

They offer 100-calorie packs to keep you form  going back for more, and more and they are gluten free and Non-GMO which makes them great for so many people! There are only 3 SmartPoints® per serving and you can feel good know it is the only popcorn endorsed by Weight Watchers- so you know it has to be good!

There is nothing quite like popping some popcorn after the kids are in bed and turning on my favorite television series. You could eat it right out of the bag but I love pouring it in a bowl.

Sometimes I add a few chocolate candies if I want a sweet and salty treat but I know the popcorn I’m eating is still helping me with my health goals.



Oroweat® Sandwich Thins rolls endorsed by Weight Watchers®

I eat my sandwiches on the Sandwich Thins  and there’s no going back to regular bread!  Not only are they an excellent source of fiber but they come in mutliple yummy flavors such as Whole Wheat, Honey Wheat, Flax & Fiber. And they are only 3 Smart Points per roll!

I have found that they are not only great for lunch but for breakfast and late night snacking!

You can put anything on them to enjoy day or night.

Peanut butter and jelly with bananas is my favorite late night snack because it is light and doesn’t leave me feeling super heavy.

A few of my favorite combinations using the Sandwich Thins are:

Cinnamon and sugar

Peanut butter and jelly or honey

Avocado with salt and pepper and hot sauce

Scrambled eggs with shredded cheese

Pizza sauce and melted cheese

Hummus and turkey lunch meat

Egg salad with pickles


Weight Watchers® Ice Cream Novelties

Sometimes I just want ice cream before bed and there’s nothing wrong with that!

Thankfully, Weight Watchers has made it easier to do so without the added guilt.

Some of reasons I love them are that they come individually wrapped to promote portion control and they have lower Smart Points (only 2-4 per serving) value than regular ice cream or frozen novelties.

They are made from low-fat milk and many of their treats are all under 100 calories! What more could I want in a late night ice cream snack?

You can find all these products at your local Walmart store. This works out great for me because there is store close by and everything is so easy to locate!

Some other foods I like to snack on late at night that don’t set me back with my health goals are:

Bananas with peanut butter


Cottage Cheese 


Fresh fruit


Carrots and Celery with Hummus


Flavored Water Packets


Whole Grain Cereal with low fat milk
