Making cards is so very fast and easy. My only issue is how to get it started. I push the mat or card-holder up to the rollers and it often takes several tried to get the Joy to grab it and go. Is there a “trick” to it?

Yep! It may not respond to the “smart features” like the smart iron on or vinyl does, but it should still cut.

You just need to cut them down and use the cutting mat for the Joy.
