It is hard to budget on self-employment, or just when you don’t have much cash flow. It makes it a lot easier to save though in my opinion. I need to be even better about our budget now that we are buying a house (closing on Monday!)

I feel like a lot of people don’t even think about living below their means. Now that Dan is actually starting his career and will have a job, I am going to be able to start doing a real budget. It’s been hard trying to do a budget on a self-employment salary and student loans, so now it’s going to be a lot easier trying to figure out what we can afford and how much we can save!
