I strained mine through a nut mylk bag (like a cheesecloth) to make thicker. 16 oz of ketchup is what resulted so I froze half in silicone cubes for defrosting later since I don't know the refrigerated life of the ketchup and I can't eat 16 oz of ketchup in a week. :)

I wish you would have said it was for an 6 or 8 quart. Used my 8 quart and burned it in a few minutes. What a waste of time.

I’ve made this a few times, it’s incredibly easy and very very good. Will try a few of the suggested seasoning adjustments. I’ve always put it in mason jars sealed in water bath - wondering how everyone else stores theirs? Thanks for the great recipe 🙂

Just made a batch to go with some left over chicken strips and my husband loved it!! We both loved the little kick the cayenne added straight from the pot, but it wasn't spicy on the chicken at all! This will definitely become a staple in our house. Thank you for sharing your recipe!!
