If there’s one thing I get asked more than anything, it’s about how to make money from home.
I think that a lot of stay-at-home moms especially are often looking for ways to make a little extra money here and there, especially around the holidays.
Although money isn’t as tight for us as it once was, I still do this as well. I sometimes tell Forrest that maybe we should name our blog “Live Like You Are Poor”, because sometimes, we kind of do!
Anyways, if you are looking for some easy ways to make some extra money, here are a few of my favorite ways.
I took surveys ALL the time when we were first married and having Jack. They are easy to do while you are watching TV, and the money really does add up. Sometimes you can even get fun products!
There are a lot of scammy companies out there, but there are also a lot of great ones out there. You can read my full list here.
I haven’t done them as much lately, but they are really easy to do while you are watching TV or a movie at night.
Shopper’s Voice is a great company that gives you the chance to earn prizes, free products, coupons, and more. It’s perfect for the head shopper in the house. They give away a grand prize of $10,00 12 monthly prizes of $500, along with other prizes.
I think that sometimes it feels like sweepstakes aren’t worth entering, but with companies like Shopper’s Voice, there are less people to compete against, and it is a legit company.
In addition to being entered into sweepstakes, you can earn coupons, special mail offers, free product samples, and more. you can sign up here – it’s great for people who are the main shopper in the household and want to get their opinion out there.
If you’ve been reading Clarks Condensed for long, you’ll know that I LOVE Ibotta. It’s such an easy and fast way to earn cash back on everyday purchases at the store. They are constantly expanding their database, and they not only have grocery stores, but craft stores, electronics stores, and even the Dollar Tree!
It’s so easy to use – they often have rebates where you get $5 just for submitting something. I know a lot of people who love Ibotta and make a lot of cash back – you can, too!
If you are doing any kind of shopping this holiday season, you HAVE to sign up for Ebates! You literally get cashback for many online purchases. I just bought some shoes from Famous Footwear, and I immediately was notified that about $2 was added to my account.
If you sign up, make sure you install the browser extension! You can read more about earning cash back here.
I love this system – it’s a free website you sign up with, and it monitors your online purchases. If it finds a lower price within 30 days, it gets the money back for you. This is great during the holidays, because prices are constantly changing. You might be able to still get some money back from your holiday shopping.
This is the coolest system. Basically, they call companies you have monthly bills with (internet, TV, cell phone, etc.) and negotiate your bills down. I referred someone recently who saved over $915 after working them. I sure wouldn’t mind an extra $915 in my pocket.
I just love Swag Bucks. You can earn gift cards and money by simply doing your everyday web searches, following them on Swag Bucks, and installing the browser extension which will alert you to Swag Codes. It’s free to sign up, and it’s one of the most effortless ways to make money – especially if you do a lot of searching online!
