BIC Multi-Color Pens – Perfect for Planners

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of BIC 4 Color for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of my goals for the year was to be more organized. This has become increasingly important, as I am constantly having sponsored posts to write, clients to work with on their sites, and heaven only knows how many personal obligations. Oh, and we have to eat every now and then (meal planning and me aren’t the best of friends.)

In order to do this, I decided to invest in a planner. Not just any planner — an Erin Condren planner. In the blogging world, this is the must-have planner…and after using it for a few months, I have to agree with the hype. It’s pretty awesome. In fact, I gave my mom one for Christmas, and she enjoys it just as much.

After buying this planner, I quickly discovered the need to have multi-color pens. I would look at my planner and see a big mass of black ink, and it was kind of overwhelming. Instead, I thought it would be easier if I assigned different categories, different colors. And it is.

At first, I bought a package of about 10 different colored pens, which worked for awhile. Until Jack discovered them, and now I have one of those pens left (don’t ask me where he is hiding them now!) So I decided to simplify, and now I love using the BIC 4 Inseparable Colors in 1 Pen. Instead of trying to keep track of ten pens, there’s just one, yet I can still keep my planner organized.

My favorite to use is green. Apparently, BIC gives all the colors a different personality, and the green one is jealousy. Not me! I think I more closely identify with Blue…s/he likes themself! haha. Red likes to be correct (makes sense — teachers always use red pens to correct papers) and Black feels like it shouldn’t all be about blue and is just misunderstood. Which one are you? These videos are kind of fun:
