Thanks for commenting! I like the idea of adding diced green chiles. I’ve never made it fresh before – that sounds delicious. If you have a yummy recipe, I’d love for you to send me an email so I can try it out! Cooking from scratch is definitely the way to go!

After (generous) sampling, I added a 4 oz can of diced green chilies. I routinely make this dish, but I make my own salsa verde. I highly recommend making it fresh. Yours was good. I just really like cooking from scratch with nice fresh stuff. Pick up some tomatillos and try it! It’s faster than you think and worth it.
