Katie said she does use the honey/butter mixture for the muffin pans. Also you're so sweet! I know that Katie really appreciates your support!

Hi Katie Do you also use the honey/butter mixture to coat your muffins pans. In your recipe you have spray with cooking spray but in blog you say "If you opt to just use a baking sheet or a glass dish, just cover the sheet in the honey/butter mixture instead of the individual cups"? I will be coating my muffin pan cups with the honey butter because it sounds a great way to put more favor on the outside of the roll. Thanks for your recipe, I am always looking for easy rolls to make using either my hands (since I cannot afford a stand mixer since on a fixed income) or a bread machine (I have had it for years). Love your recipes you put on here, just keep up the great work and ignore people when they are trying to shame you or put you down. I also am a Christian and have been saved by my LORD and SAVIOR and believe if you cannot say something nice DON"T say anything!

Dear Katie (and Sarah)

A little late getting on board, but nevertheless. Katie, I love your blog and thank you for taking the time (as a busy mom!) to so practically help others on their way.

Right now I have the buns in the oven, but I must have doe something wrong, because they did not rise as well as yours. But that is so me-in-the-kitchen! (Will try making them again.)

I do want to apologize if someone might not quite be accepting of you blogging (and then also not question the oodles of blogs kept up by young Christian moms.)

By the way, I am a Christian too, believing in my Lord Jesus Christ who became my oldest brother when He died on the cross to take away my sins and so set me free from all guilt, and enabled me to joyfully serve Him and the Father through the Holy Spirit.

Have fun with your blog!

In reply to <a href="https://www.clarkscondensed.com/quick-dinner-rolls-made-with-honey/#comment-171505">sarah beaird</a>.

Hi, Sarah! I apologize for the delay in response. I appreciate your question, and I hope I can respond adequately :)

I have actually never been taught in school (I attended BYU) or church that as a stay-at-home mother, I need to contribute to our family income. In fact, it was never a goal of mine to have our blog become our sole source of income. My main priority has always been (and will always be) my children, but I am grateful for the revenue source our blog as become, as well as the opportunity it has given me to have a place to share my experiences with others.

I think many Mormon women have blogs because they are home, and they feel that they want something to do from home. Blogging is a great thing to do from home, because it's very flexible, allows you to connect with other people (primarily mothers in my experience), and make some money. :)

We have been encouraged to share our beliefs with others through blogs and social networks if we are able, but we are not told to make businesses or anything from our blogs :)

I hope that answers your question!

Could you please tell me why so many Morman women have blogs? I am not a Morman, but I am a Christian and believe that women should stay home and raise their children if at all possible. I quit my job as a teacher and stayed home with my children and have never regretted that decision. I can't help but think that young Morman women are taught how to contribute to the family income by working from home, i.e, maintaining a blog. Is this taught and encouraged in your universities and in your churches?
