Wait a minute, did you mention playing outside. I know my kids really enjoy, playing outside. Outside is good compared to playing inside. We have played frisbee and frisbee golf and once we played ultimate frisbee. There are many things you can do with a frisbee, but it is best to play outside with a frisbee.

We have done: knots tying, fire making, nerf wars, lazer tag, cooking safety, cookie baking, and the pine wood derby!

Kelly, Technically there are two:

Primary Activities – Boys
Primary Activities – Girls

Each Primary Activities ‘group’ falls under each ward/branch Primary organization.

This summer we took our boys to Camp Fife for a day in Northern Utah. Highly recommended!

Everyone in my ward still calls it “Boys Activity Days”

Our girls have a traditional Polar Express Night (last activity before Christmas).
They wear their PJ’s & have hot cocoa while a speical visitor reads the Polar Express.

Activity Days was discontinued in 2019. Boys went to Scouts, girls went to Activity Days. Now that the church doesn’t participate in the scouting program, Activity Days was discontinued as well and is now simply called Primary activities. This is part of the Children and Youth program. The church put out a letter dated November 2019 saying that all activity and achievement programs have been discontinued, this included Activity Days.
