Printable Tools Memory Game for Kids

Jack is always asking me to play a game with him, and I have to admit, our kid game collection is lacking. There’s only so many times in a week that I can play Candy Land or Chutes and Ladders. So, I’ve been slowly trying to expand our collection by picking up games at Goodwill when I find a good deal, or on Amazon. The other day, I thought it would be fun to make him his own memory game!

Memory card games are one of those things that I think all children enjoy, and it’s a great way to develop memory and identification skills. Jack has really loved tools of all types lately (whether it’s playing with his toy tool set, helping his daddy with a project, or cutting with scissors, he’s enamored by them all!), so I thought it would be fun to make a memory game based on tools.

All you need to do is print off two copies of this memory game template below (make sure you do it on cardstock, or else you’ll be able to see the pictures through the paper), laminate it (so it lasts longer – I’m seriously obsessed with my laminator. Best purchase ever.), and cut it out. It’s a simple project but hopefully it will be a fun game for your child! Jack had so much fun, and I’m pretty sure we played at least six times the first day I had it out for him!

Here’s where you can download it!
