I live in Texas! What City was your hairstyler at?

I didn’t know there were such type of shampoos for fast hair growth! Would you please give some examples?

I live in a rural Oregon coastal town, and I asked on our local Facebook group for recommendations for a stylist who cuts curly hair dry. (The nearest Devacurl salon is 250 miles away.). Someone said “really anyone in town”, amp do a few recommended a woman who has really tight curly hair, has been a hairdresser for decades. However, she commented that she cuts curly hair wet because she can’t see the curl pattern when it’s dry! I had THE BEST curly cut in Portland 5 years ago, but I am not going to drive there for a haircut! I feel discouraged.

I know you asked for a Devacurl salon experience, but I went to someone a month ago who had 35 five star reviews. I showed her my photo of my great curly bob cut, and walked out of her salon with a beautiful stacked bob that would have been great for straight hair. I asked her to scrunch it with a diffuser and she said “you can style it that way at home. She used a round brush, and kept trimming more off the back. The front and sides only curl on one side; they lay straight everywhere else. The back is just too short to curl. I will let it grow for two more months and hope the curly girl cutter comes to my area!

I just had a devacut disaster, I have fine curly hair. The stylist didn’t cut individual curls she cut like a regular stylist but straight across. Aren’t you supposed to cut at an angle?! I now have bulk in the back of my head in the middle and stragly curls at the bottom, she took away any bulk I had at is only bottom. I paid $96! The out so much product in my hair in was so wet even after I was put under a dryer. In my opinion the Deva cut is just a way to sell expensive products.

I just had a deva cut with a level three stylist and she was amazing and talked me through the whole process used only deva curl prodcuts and had curly hair herself she flipped my hair over right in her salon and we did the entire process together start to finish unfortunately you just had a crappy person it was worth every penny and I LOVE my new cut. I’ll see her again in 10 weeks.
