I have an Alexa, 2 Echo shows in my home which we communicate room to room with and my daughter has several echo shows and echo dots at her home, she Ives 25 miles from us, and we talk to each other all the time and see each other if we are both using the echo shows. These devices have been a saving grace for us during COVID-19.

If I purchase 2 units one for each house would I still be able to live view each unit or do they have to be in the same house to do that?

This looks so cool! We had an intercom system in our house growing up and I loved it! It would be fun to have one now that I have my own family!
