This savory Instant Pot lasagna soup recipe is sure to become a regular in your family. It is the perfect dump-and-go soup recipe with delicious and creamy flavors – no ricotta or cottage cheese.
Lasagna Soup in Instant Pot
It’s no secret that lasagna is my favorite food.
I mean, I’ve made so many different variations of lasagna here on Clarks Condensed, you’d think I would have run out of ideas by now.
I thought I had. But then I realized…I have never shared a lasagna soup recipe.
And I do love a good Instant Pot soup recipe!
Slow cooker lasagna soup is absolutely AMAZING, so I knew that a version in the Instant Pot would be equally as good.
I’ve made Instant Pot lasagna before, and it was really good…but a little time intensive.
This Instant Pot lasagna soup recipe though…there’s nothing time-intensive about it. Beyond browning the sausage in the pot, it’s practically a dump and go recipe.
I adjusted a few of the ingredients from my slow cooker version, but I think they made the flavors and creaminess of this dish just that much better.
Pressure Cooker Lasagna Soup
Equipment
- Instant Pot
- Wooden spoon (or other spoon for mixing)
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground italian sausage
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
- 24-ounce jar pasta sauce (any variety)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 Tablespoon onion powder
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 8-10 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
Press saute on your Instant Pot.
Add olive oil to the pot of your Instant Pot and let it heat for a minute
Cook and crumble the sausage with garlic. Drain excess grease.
Add in the pasta sauce, water, beef broth, seasonings, and parmesan cheese. Mix.
Add in broken up lasagna noodles and cover with liquid.
Put on manual high heat for 6 minutes.
Once the timer goes off, quick pressure release the rest of the pressure.
Open lid and mix in mozzarella cheese and heavy cream.
Enjoy with parmesan cheese.

- Put on manual high heat for 6 minutes.

- Open lid and mix in mozzarella cheese and heavy cream.
- Enjoy with heavy cream.
