Make sure Santa doesn’t get the same cookie at every house with one of these 25+ Christmas Cookies for Santa!
Cookies are my favorite, especially this time of year, probably due to the fact that we always had cookies at my house during the holidays! My mom always would make treat plates for friends, family, church members, and, of course, our immediate family. This was something that I always enjoyed helping with, and I have definitely kept that tradition up with our little family.
I really have a big sweet tooth, and it appears that Jack has “inherited” that from me as well. Unfortunately, he can’t always have all the sweet treats that he’d like, but it doesn’t stop him from wanting to help me (and sneaking bites whenever I’m not looking.) We got these cutest aprons from Hallmark, and I think the one that Jack is wearing definitely highlights his favorite part of cookie making.
I think the highlight of the cookie making season for me was always picking out which cookies to put on the plate for Santa. I always wanted to make sure he had plenty to eat when he stopped at our house, and I picked the best cookies for the plate. And, of course, we always left carrots for all the reindeer. I love that Jack is getting old enough to enjoy these little traditions as well. We have so much fun last weekend cooking up a storm of cookies that I needed for a couple of different events.
The Bake Like an Elf Kit came with measuring cups and spoons that were perfect for little hands. Jack carefully helped me measure out all the ingredients, and he thought it was so fun.
The sugar cookie roller was equally fun, and I was able to let Jack go to town with it. It really cut the perfect sugar cookie cut outs. Instead of having to cut just one at a time, you could cut a whole roll. Jack had SO much fun doing that part.
Since Santa Claus gets a lot of cookies, it’s nice for him to have a variety. I thought it would be fun to put together this compilation of 25+ Christmas Cookies for Santa. It has everything from traditional fare, to cookies you might not think of everyday. Hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy making cookies with your family this holiday season as much as we do!
