Thank you so much for sharing this. I just found out, 3 days ago, that I’m pregnant. My boyfriend and I have been talking about getting married and having babies, eventually, but not this soon. I’m in freak out mode and I feel like I’m going through this all alone and that something is wrong with me because I’m not excited. My boyfriend is incredibly excited and supportive and so are my few friends and family that I’ve told. I’ve had at least one melt down a day this week so far. All that to say thank you for sharing your story.

In reply to Kathleen. THank you so much for sharing your thoughts, and I'm so glad that you found comfort in this post. I know exactly how you are feeling. All will be well in the end, I promise you. When I think about my little surprise baby (who is now almost six), I can't imagine the world without him. I didn't know we needed him, but God knew this world needed my little Jack.

I needed this! Thank you for writing it. I found out Jan 7th that baby #2 is on the way and I was shocked and devastated. This was definitely not our timing and I’m honestly not sure I was ever going to want a 2nd. I have a wonderful husband. I know I am blessed and God has a plan, but this is frigthing for me. I’m so glad to know I’m not alone. We are waiting to tell our families until I have peace or can no longer hide it. My SIL is due in March after IVF. So my family will not be able to understand my emotions regarding this pregnancy. I’m so glad to know I am not alone in this feeling.

Omg, I’m feeling the same way I called my Dr. Thinking that there was something wrong. Did you actually take anti depressants in your pregnancy?

This is what I needed to read today! I am in the same situation–newlywed, husband in school only working part-time, found out 4th of July weekend, and due in March! Thank you for sharing this. I can definitely relate 🙂
