I was always afraid of the old stovetop versions but when I went to get a new slow cooker last year I found a digital pressure cooker on sale in a 2-4 person size and desided to try it. You can slow cook, rice steam and pressure cook as well. It would probably cut your cook time to under an hour. Since then I’ve bought another larger multi cooker. They are great!!! Hint holiday sales are coming…
