I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for RadioShack. I received a gift card to facilitate a shopping trip and promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I had the opportunity to visit an updated RadioShack recently. Apparently, the RadioShack company has some new leadership that have changed a few of the branding styles and names of some of the company’s products, and they have had many of their stores reset and upgraded. So, during your shopping trips this Holiday Season make sure to at least stop in check out a RadioShack location near year. Many of their Black Friday and Cyber Monday are still available.
One of my favorite parts of the store I visited was the speaker section where I could try out some speakers. Auvio is RadioShack’s brand that they started making a few years ago. Their Bluetooth speakers produce great sound, but feel free check them out for yourself.
One interesting thing I learned is that RadioShack sells a Samsung cellphone that works on a RadioShack cellular network that they get from Cricket. For $50 a month you get data (including hot spot), texting, and calls. The best feature of the plan for those who need to make international calls is unlimited calling from your cell phone internationally.
Of course, RadioShack has the cool remote controlled cars and helicopters I feel like they’re famous for. One thing I think a lot of people could use are their battery power banks to help you keep your phone charged when you need it most. They have a wide range of prices with some as low as $15, or if your phone dies quickly, you could just buy the battery and have it installed to give your phone new life. The RadioShack I visited had a lot of different new phones and plans. Some have prepaid plans and some have postpaid plans.
With the way gadgets are taking over our lives, RadioShack is a good resource to be familiar with if you dare to do your own repairs hand upgrades. So, check out if your local RadioShack has a new look, grab some stocking stuffers, and get to know the DIY supplies. You might need it in a few months when one of your other must-have tech gifts needs a little help.
Check out RadioShack’s Holiday Hub for more information.
