I’ve tried multiple combinations of distilled water, tap water, glycerin, baby oil, different glitters, dish soap… and basically everything I’ve tried no matter what my glitter still clumps or just floats at the top. Any tips or advice on what else I can try?

I’m trying to make Beauty and the Beast Rose globes for part of my centerpieces for my wedding, and keep having these issues. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi! I hope that you will have fun making them. It is possible that they will rust – I think it might make the trees look kind of cool 🙂 However, there are trees that are made entirely from plastic that I’ve seen at the store, so you may want to look into those!

These are super cute, thank, ass for sharing. My grandchildren and I are going to make these as a project during the day as they spend lots of time with Grammy while mom and dad are working so they are not raised by strangers at day cares. And my grandson is 5 and will love this project.
