If I put the Maker 3 in the garage, which is about 30′ from my computer inside the house, can I still connect via Bluetooth or would you recommend having the laptop next to the Cricut?

When I put in text and try and cut it, the computer says this item not for sale. I’m putting in my own text, so I don’t understand why this is happening.
