					<description><![CDATA[I am a retired elementary school principal.  This is a very well written article.  I always wished that parents would act like adults; realize it is their job to teach their children manners, to be responsible citizens, teach them to be kind to others and that the world does not revolve only around them.  My most rewarding times were when during the 5th grade culmination, I could pick out some of the hardest ones to reach and see them ready for middle school--when the parents, teachers and I worked together!]]></description>
