					<description><![CDATA[have you ever tried making dairy-free truffles with left-over chocolate cake moistened with blackberry jelly, rolled into balls and either rolled in a cocoa, sugar blend or dipped in melted carob? I haven&#039;t made truffles with this, but I&#039;ve made a dessert with a chocolate cake that didn&#039;t come out of the pan very well. So I broke it up into pieces, mixed with melted blackberry jelly thinned with a little hot water, spooned into bowls, and topped with whipped cream. This could be done with any kind of cake and a sauce to compliment the cake. The truffles just came to me when you said a family member couldn&#039;t have dairy. If you wanted the truffles really chocolatey, use Hershey&#039;s syrup to moisten the cake. Maybe use an instant coffee, cocoa, sugar coating for these.]]></description>
